We already got leaks that this year the red ranger owns all the mechs, the weapons, and the power ups. There are two others but they die in the first episode and red is so awesome he doesn't even notice.

This pyramid event is just awful. The enemies seem to hit double what even hard-tier enemies hit and have specials that go off like every two hits on top having insanely high defense despite only being level 10. One V Slash from GoGoV did literally half my health bar just now. 3 coins for only beating one of these hard stages is also painful. The rewards look really good though, but it just keeps on going and going and going. I'm at 11 now by the skin of my teeth.

If the PR movie is a major success next year, I wonder what kind of effect it will have on sentai. Maybe new sentai fans will pop up worldwide, more tumblr pages, more subgroups, Toei considers doing a big budget movie, DMCA takedowns maybe, Saban does something jewish. Very exciting stuff.

Most likely nothing. I don't think Power Rangers ever had any major effect on Sentai even during the first few seasons when it was at it's height. I mean did the first movie actually had any effect on Sentai when it did so well? Japanese stuff tend to just focus on Japan and let the localizers deal with trying to sell it overseas.

I think there's going to be noticeable bump in sentai fans regardless of how the movie perform. I mean, I only discovered sentai last year because of Power/Rangers and I'm here a year later with you faggots.

I'm also kind of curious about KR and if Saban is already thinking about introducing it into the movie franchise at some point since it is technically canon in the PR universe (Masked Rider).

I loved it. Kenta is my favourite idiot red, Kouichiro being the leader was a nice change from what I'm used to with Sentai and the rest were well fleshed out too. MegaSilver is easily the best sixth I've seen as well.

I feel RPM is basically the best story Power Rangers ever had. Taking the Go-Onger suits and engines and making it as meta and weirdly dark as possible. A great swan song to the franchise if Saban didn't feel like suddenly buying the license again and going back to nostalgia fuel crap.

Carranger isn't really "campy" though. It's more a lighthearted black comedy than something naively ridiculous, that's more Go-onger and ToQger's thing; Carranger's humor is based on the characters being terrible, reprehensible people, not on being whacky or slapsticky. It's often very subtle and full of darker and adult undertone (and not only "adult" in the violence/sex department but in a bunch of other things kids would miss). This very episode ı just finished watching had the resident child character's relationship with Signalman come to its climax after being developped in the background episode by episode. Oh, and the kid almost has his entrails sucked by the bad guys in a satanic ritual. Yeah. Carranger is more Molière than the Three Stooges.
