if you need an idea of the sort of damage threshold you need to aim for, it should be able to harm Granteed or Raftclanz.

I know from experience that not even the Final Boss of J can harm either of them. Granteed simply has too much armor, and Raftclans has effectively a 2400 damage barrier because of his auto-shield (this is implying Shield fix patch).
