Also of note: Demonbane joins with 0 upgrades. Very few other units do, since they start joining with upgrades... I think before the 10s, even. So on top of spending bullshit amounts on his weapons, you also have to spend more money to get him from the lower levels of everything else to the higher ones.

He is absolutely, in no way, the least costly unit to max. If I had to guess I'd actually say Katou's... uh, whatever his Arma's named? Can't remember right now. It joins with 5 and has the cheapass weapons tier, which is fucking hilarious since it has an extraordinarily strong finisher that only costs 30 and has Soul backing it.
