First couple episodes can be a bit jarring with the musical numbers and the overly strong filter on the fight scenes. It gets better, but you just have to keep in mind it's not supposed to be your average Rider show. It's slower and more personal, focusing on the characters and their development, especially Asumu, over everything else. So it might just not be for everyone.

Y'know until the retool at episode 30 tears out almost everything that made the show interesting and replaces it with your usual Rider antics done horribly and beyond boring.

People never seem to mention Meteor much when they talk about the live shows and stage shows, which is kind of a shame. Our rules with Meteor evolved from being very tough and how most people would describe as "Chuuni," only for when Ryuusei became an actual good guy and friend to Gentaro to just become even more odd than Gentaro. This includes doing things like making sure the Fourze suit is dusted off after fights and, in one of my favorite scenes, tell Fourze to sit down and wait while he takes care of the baddies. So Fourze's actor would usually find the first thing he could - usually a chair or a speaker (one time he just sat amongst the crowd which got all the kids excited) and watched along as Meteor handled the rest of the "plot."

Some get recycled if they're broken badly enough (cracks, missing pieces in general, etc.) but they're generally universal. You're usually told what you're gonna be wearing for bigger events, but there's extras from other situations. One example of a suit that's basically never been changed is the ZO suit, or as we call it, the ZOben. Because it smells like piss. And is terribly kept together, with visible tears and tatters. I do know that if needed, they will take stage/live suits and use them for movies. The Kame/Turtle Bazooka costume you see in movies is the one you see on stages. Exact same.

There's a mix of a lot of things. Actual recorded dialogue from the actors, some sound alikes (Seki does a lot of the heavy lifting, much more than people appreciate, when it comes to filling in roles. I've recordings of him for every single Rider.) and generally some actual editing of words if they really didn't have the chance for the previous two. We do sometimes have to talk for those just so that way our heads move properly with the dialogue. There's a sound guy in the back who handles all of it, though. He is the most important member of the entire act, really.

More than you can imagine. A lot of the parts that are not the actual fights (and even some of the fights) have improvisation and things mad up on the spot to entertain people. Shocker Combatmen (my favorite role to have played) in particular are great, since one of our rules was that they don't understand Japanese very well. They have their own language of yelling and squeaking that they all understand perfectly, and will misunderstand anything but at least once, which will always anger the lead baddy. It's never scripted, we always do it randomly, and as a result everyone has to react in a very "on the spot" manner.

I do remember dancing with the other Ghouls for Wizard's belt song, though.
