You might as well watch the episodes of the original show that have been subbed or something. It's not like The First and The Next had any resolution either.

The First has some great action and suits, but it completely changes character motivation and half of the movie is focused on hospital drama that's mostly separate from the main story. Aside from using the same names as the original series and having "Shocker" as the enemy, it's pretty much its own story, and a story that was left open at the end of The Next and will never be concluded.

If you mean the movie Kamen Rider vs Shocker, then yes. The action is insane and there's crazy badass moments for Hongo and Ichimonji.

If you mean Kamen Rider THE FIRST (2005). Then I'd say it's still worth it, but don't go out of it thinking this is what the original series was or this is what Kamen Rider is about.

I've seen The First and I'll admit that it was sort of awful, but I've just never gotten around to watching The Next. All this talk about those movies has made me want to see what the fuss is about, and I think... I think the time is now. Wish me luck.

The Next actually uses a horror subplot which I think fits better than the hospital drama.

The main issue is that the horror monster subplot is mostly unconnected from the Shocker main plot, rather than both just being one and the same.

V3 from The Next also is even more different from the original V3 than Hopper 1 and 2 were from the original Riders. It gets to a point where it seems like the only reason that character even was "V3" was for marketing.

A Kamen Rider Ouija in Ghost sounds nice. However trying to integrate a whole ouija board onto a belt, bracer or other device sounds like a daunting task. Also I wouldn't be able to get away from interpretting it in my head as Kamen Rider Weegee.

I guess you can limit what his Ouija device can do. Like instead of having the whole alphabet you can use just numbers. Have to rotable number slots like there are on number protected padlocks. Make the number of the Eyecon you would like to call out to and scan over the number with your pointer. If Ouija has an Eyecon, his can just be 00.

Only problem is not every Eyecon is designated with a number outside the random 15. So unless the device translates those other Eyecons into numbers, you would have to come up with something else or leave the device limited to those 15. Maybe do a bracer + driver combo.

Also, there needs to be a "Transform" and "Omega Drive" somewhere on the device to scan over. Like how "Yes" and "No" are common written phrases on ouija boards. Maybe "Goodbye" couldbe the de-transformation.
