According to the Japanese wiki Sein can grow crystal arm blades as a secret weapon in the PSP game. I didn't get them when I played through it though, so I can't confirm it. There's also apparently an alternate route where you keep Mark Elf and get the chest beam from concept art as a new finisher.

I'm still hoping that Maya gets a super version of the chest beam as her SDP. It would be a shame if it never gets used in the series proper.

I get the impression that most of the translations are just from text scripts by random translators that know nothing about the series.

So let me get this straight:

The reason NUNs was hunting the Alvis Islands was to try and obtain one of the cores for their own use.

Tatsumiya was the first one rediscovered, but they didn't make a move on it until much later as they were hoping to find a weaker island to take over.

The second one we all know was badly raided by Festum at some point, and its core eventually joined the Festum side as Idun.

The last one was apparently weak enough for NUNs to raid, and they razed it, took their core, and managed to somehow integrate it with a satellite. Not realizing that the Core absorbed the wills of those who died on its island and was just biding its time until it could break free. Now we're about to get Idun 2.0.

Personally, I'm hoping Maya gets Raison and becomes part of the Salvator group. It would round out the fact that she, Kazuki, and Soushi were the only ones in the ED of the original series.

Realistically, I'm expecting Idun 2.0 to take it, then finally Hiroto taking it over from within (as it's using his Fafner's core or body) and sacrificing his spirit self to delete both him and Idun 2.0 together.

Logically speaking, Maya is actually an ideal Salvator candidate. Possibly her father's intention.

She actually had one of the highest sync rates; surpassing Kazuki at times, and even her father commented that her skill and capabilities are much higher than what was listed (no doubt due to the fact that he may have had a hand in her genetic factors while she was in a test tube, given that he wanted her to be a cold pilot).

And it would complete the trinity of Dead Agressor, where Maya, Kazuki, and Soushi were the only ones in the ending.

I'm kind of hoping that Maya gets Mk Reason in the end; probably in the movie, if we get one (the way we got Nicht at the end of HaE).
