One thing though is that the old HG one doesn't use any poly caps for the leg and arm segments and supposedly wear out fast, so Bandai could just be updating that as well as updating it's proportions. I would say they're at the very least better than the Wing 90s kits, and it really depends on what you want. From my experience the later kits in the line are better, but the Aegis has most of the molded parts only suffering from transformable mobile suit syndrome

what are you on about, MG MK-II 2.0 is a great kit. the only stickers it needs are on the shield and head sensors and it has the same colors of every other MK-II ever made. what wobbly legs? ive built it twice and the legs had zero problems, hell thats the best part of the kit, the sliding armor pieces look even better than the PG and it doesnt have the RG's tiny head and stickly proportions.

Not him but looking back at mine, I didn't like the hip joint connection to the leg. The peg doesn't go deep enough, it feels too easy to twist off.

And then there's the skirt armor which I once snapped and had to ghetto a fix for, because I went too all out posing the leg.

From an engineering standpoint the legs are really cool and all but I feel it gets in the way of the final product doing anything more involved than static statue standing.

Also they're kinda heavy. Which ties back to the peg being too short. Feels like if you suspended it midair the legs would slack down, even eventually fall off.

g-saviour is a big guy

it's a pretty good kit for its age, but its very loose in some spots. the shoulder armor is held on with small pegs and wobbles a lot

a lot of panel lines are uneven or shallow and will need to be rescribed as well
