Hey, /krg/. Haven't checked in here for about a year or so now. Still have my feed for OT and noticed that yet another new series of KR had started when I wasn't looking. Figured it'd be a good time to see what's going on.

Watched about two episodes of Ghost so far. It's not really doing a lot for me in terms of characters or story but the suits are pretty good and I feel like I should keep watching just to see what comes up next. Forms based on historical figures is also pretty cool, if not trying a bit too hard to educate the kids.

This also prompted me to start making my way through Drive. Currently about ten episodes in. Characters are pretty good so far and I don't mind the suit designs. Tridoron is a bit of a mixed bag, but I'm not sure how much of that is down to shitty CG. But overall enjoying it so far.

Plan from here is probably to finish Drive and maybe keep up with Ghost at the same time. Glad to hear the Blade scrubs got finished too! Been wanting to finish that series for nearly 5 years now so I'll probably move onto that next.

I had an Idea for a pantheon Rider.

Basically he has different forms, and within those forms are other forms.

The First layer is the Pantheon itself (stuff like greek and norse)

Then, after that, you have to select a God

So Norse + Thor would give the rider an electric hammer

Greek + Apollo gives him a fire gun, along with fire kicks and punches

Created to be more of a Secondary Rider than a Primary.
The belt itself is nothing special, resembles one of the earlier simpler belts, but with a holster on the side.
The holster holds a pistol-like gun without a mag.
To transform, the user inserts magazines into the gun.
Default gun would work like a normal Auto-pistol. You can change the magazine for different one handed gun types eg. Submachine, revolver etc.

Upgrade involves going from one handed to two handed guns.

Oh and part of the plot is he's kinda Athiestic/Nihilistic, so it's a big wake up call to find out the Gods of most Pantheons are real. In order to gain the ability, he has to "appease" the God in question by finding the shrine and proving their worth (Basically, a certain labour or job they must do) and obviously the Enemies can do the same/try and stop him. Super forms can use all gods of the same pantheon and use their abilities at will. Now that I think about it, is 9 enough?

It was good, but Den-O set a standard nothing i've seen has really matched. I've only seen through Den-O and Gaim though, with half of W and Fourze under my belt.

Also I've seen the terrible english dragon one.

I plan to check out Ghost next to see if thats good (Should i be using O-Ts subs?) and then OOO. I want to do some older riders too, but i don't know where to start with them, i did enjoy what i saw of the first Kamen Rider though, about six episodes. Whole lotta fake webbing in that.

The canon in this case would be dictated by Toei though, not Urobuchi, since they're the owners of the propriety.

Still, I think a couple of the changes in the Gaidens really don't line up well with the original show, like how here we have Zack as the leader of the dancing group before he let's Kaito take over, and he was already current Zack when he was a leader there, which is kind of at odds with how much of a "follower" Zack was in the beginning of Gaim, even using dirty tricks and such just to attempt to help Kaito.

He only became the Zack that we know after he actually had to stand as Baron's team leader and do things his way, rather than attempting to follow someone else. This Gaiden basically seemed to want to ignore that early Zack.

Transformations are pretty straightforward with no bullshit

Rewatching the Duke Gaiden, the "time skip" to the finished Genesis Driver is only of a few days, so, most of the "present" scenes in it likely take place during the timeskip between the Christmas dance and the following arc with the actual debut of the Genesis Riders.

I didn't get what was up with that transition scene though. It seems to be implying that Kugai Kudou/Saver was still alive and gave Shura a special Banana Lockseed.

In the Knuckle Gaiden itself, the lockseed that Shura gives to the first winner is one of those false Pomegranate Lockseeds too. However, there's no follow up on Kugai Kudou still being around at all in spite of those scenes.

Few questions.

I'm working on some custom Gurongi/Lords for my Figuarts Kuuga/Agito and I need to know if there is some type of flexible Material that I can use for straps, certain body armor, and etc.

What's the best way to paint the compound(Clear Plastic) eyes and change the color, but still keeping the transparent effect? (If Possible)

Does Amazon have a Hobby cloth I can use for loincloths/Capes/etc?

For the Rhino Gurongi, should I go for a show accurate appearance or a stylized approach?
