Why did this show supposedly did terribly? I remember hearing it goes shit after episode 30 but Den-O did fantastically and its plot become confusing as hell after 30.

I'm enjoying it more than I was Drive at this point. There's some CG reliance but the majority of it is used for the parka ghosts. The Ganma are great and the suits are good and the cast plays well together. Even if the motw plots are a little rushed it's been great fun to watch it.

The past two episodes with Spectre have been a nice character-focused break from the quick speed of the first few episodes. So, they broke their original promise not to let Ghost interfere with Den-O, AND they broke their word a second time by saying they'd release up to 18 and then do batches.

Even if they had released up to 18 by now, that wouldn't change that they promised, repeatedly, that Ghost wouldn't slow down Den-O at all and that Den-O was their priority.

The Faiz AU has some spoilers like mentioned above.

Original Kiva and Blade have returning actors for the final arc. Black/Black RX also basically return too in their own two parter (or they're AU versions identical to the originals). They also pop up in the movie, although basically just for extended fighting scenes.

For the All Riders vs Dai-Shocker movie, it also helps watching the original series, since some of the returning villains from there don't have proper introductions in the movie. The final boss from X also appears there and suffers from the same issue. Still, the episode where one of them debuts hasn't even been subbed yet and X only has HK subs, so you likely can't watch them anyway, just go along with it.

Comic Godai and Ichijou are both candidates to become Kuuga.

Sakurako is hinted to be descendant of Linto.
Godai inherits the power, soul, and memory of the past Kuuga(s).
