Lose the Try, make it 2v2 like Gundam Vs., it'll give more time for the fights to be higher quality instead of split into three weaker segments.

Redou Saga (or keep him accurate to episode 2 appearance) and team him up with Junya. Make them show up super early and destroy Sekai/Yuuma in pickup game, but make sure to demonstrate that they do this with overwhelming force in 1v1 engagements during the fight instead of teamwork. After this fight, gives motivation for Sekai and Yuuma to get better.

Introduce rivals earlier, make them kick Sekai's ass early as to give him motivation for growth and satisfaction to the audience to seeing him grow.

Sekai loses ability to Chicken How're You as win button, instead teach him to teamwork. Or make it less effective so that it doesn't automatically work the first time and Sekai has to figure out a way to work around an obstacle before falling back to it.

Sekai has to pilot different units to learn different styles of piloting from each of them. Heck, make him pilot a grunt and have a really difficult time so he sees that he's being carried by SSS tier Gunpla.

Fumina keeps GM or Winning is normal sized, or cut her out. Keep her as coordinator and teacher to Sekai in Gunpla building, make her a super nerd like Sei. Put her on Gurl Team with Gyanko.

Celestial Sphere loses to Crossbone in shocking twist, real final battle is settled outside of tournament.

Cut everything teasing about Sei, or cut it down.

Field Repair

Basically what this means is that rather than the mobile suit being fresh out of a factory, it's quite the opposite. Whether it's trudging through dense jungles or dodging debris in asteroid belts, your mobile suit has seen some better days.
You've been out in the field for quite a long time now, nearly half a year of active duty in the front lines and your personal mobile suit's pretty banged up. What's worse is the fact that there isn't a maintenance bay within several thousand kilometers of your local area that's capable of making any major repairs. Your unit's engineering crew has resorted to patch work and jury-rigging to keep your machine operational. Stray fire might have crippled its legs and arms or otherwise dealt considerable damage to a mobile suit's systems meanwhile some units have simply lost bits of armor and panels to the elements and have been forced to patch weld metal sheets over the exposed inner workings.
In any case it's beaten to hell but somehow you and your team have somehow kept it chugging along and now command's ordered all units operating in your theatre to fall back to form a defensive line against the enemy offensive.

It already has vulcans or machine cannons in the final fight, you don't need to add shit. Besides which, they're really more of an anti-personnel or anti-missile weapon, which is kind of sensible and has jack and shit to do with honor. Or are you suggesting that Trieze deal with missiles by blowing them up 2 foot from his face using a saber or whip? I know the Epyon would survive it, but it's still just being silly to do so.

Pretty much, considering everything else is just based on older mecha designs from previous shows.

Tommy Yune and crew were trying to advertise a new mech for Shadow Chronicles but it just ended up being another glorified Alpha/Legioss design. They're completely incapable of coming up with anything of their own, not even to sell a new toy.

I didn't find it anything but mediocre.

Because it had a specific story to tell and it told it. And it gave us an Atlantic Federation pilot who isn't a total fuckcunt.

Short stories add so much to a universe, I really wished they had done more like Stargazer.

Stargazer was meant to test the waters, seeing if CE fans would take to side-stories like UC fans.If it worked, we would have seen more CE OVA's. But it didn't, and Banrise's fears over the nature of SEEDfans were confirmed.

Does this mean they have to sit in a funnel instead?
