>be undergrad art student
>doing charcoal project
>other student has charcoal dust
>thinks it would be funny to pile it into their hand and blow it at people
>dumbass doesn't realize how finely powdered it is and when inhaling it goes into their face they cough then freak out and spill the charcoal all over themselves
>they coughed so much and were so fucked up i literally thought they were dying right in front of me
>see them coughing up black shit for the next week
>probably have throad and lung cancer now
OP trust me just snort a line of charcoal dust, you'll get high az fukk

drawing's hugely a craft on par with crochet and wood carving. it's pretty attainable with the right teacher and a nauseating amount of elbow grease. you just have to learn a couple of simple principles. you could probably learn most of the core concepts in three days or so.
drawing on the right side of the brain and keys to drawing are pretty good if you're ever interested.

charcoal is so fucking messy
makes your fingers black, fucking dust everywhere you slightly touch anything it smears about everywhere like water
