How diversified is your reading regiment, /lit/?

Probably more than most people's. I read Americans, Europeans, Asians, Africans all quite a bit, though fewer Africans and more Asians generally. I read ancient works and contemporary works, male authors and female authors, small press books and some bestsellers.

I split my reading between fiction and non-fiction fairly evenly. I don't really read much STEM-related non-fic, but even that makes its ways in sometimes.

Not at all, it's whatever I have to be interested in. Though it's pretty structured at the moment because I'm going through the narrative parts of the Bible, which is pretty awesome so far.

I exclusively read African fiction, so yes, it's pretty diverse.

I don't mean SJW style diversity but my diverse reading taste is probably due to ADD and dilletante tendencies rather than an open mind.

bulk of what i read is from 20th century english-language novelists, so really not very diverse. and when i do stray from this, it's typically to read non-english-language 20th century novelists. but i do make an effort to read at least a few pre-20th c. authors or poets per year.

the japanese are honorary aryans

I also have this problem, I'm just obsessed with them.

Lately I have been reading some classic short stories; Dubliners, Chekhov short stories, Gogol, Dostoyevsky, Guy de Maupassant etc.

And now I'm reading Mythology by Edith Hamilton that I picked up at a thrift store. After this I will start Don Quixote.

I alternate between literature and light novels.

Last two books I've read where Vasily Grossman's Life and Fate and the 3rd volume of Spice and Wolf series.

Nationality wise it's not that diverse in my opinion.
Most falls into

>anglo (Yankee 10% British+Irish 13%)
>assorted slavs (russians 3%)
>2 finns (section wasn't big enough to be calculated last time so it was categorised under "other")

But depends on what you find diverse.
I don't read booka by blacks and women,not because of racism and sexism,but because I haven't come across a subject that interests me and a women/black made an interesting book about it.

Is this diverse in your opinion?
