Is this book any good? What books can help increase charisma if any?

Figure out what kind of person attracts your admiration. Not just superficially in their mannerisms but concretely in their view of life, their goals, their beliefs. Then emulate them, ask them what would X do in this situation.

Read their biographies and their quotes, see what makes them tick. I would avoid "self-help" books.

I dont think self help books are inherently bad. Self help books that promise quick and easy solutions are bad

Only read a part of it a long time ago. Didn't care for it. Seemed to me it was mostly about being a people pleaser.

I'd recommend The Charisma Myth. A lot of it goes over ways to manage your stress and anxiety to help you stay calm and present in the moment. Charisma, in large part, is your ability to stay present and focused on the person, or group, you're interacting with, so you can achieve a real connection with them.

It really has done a lot to help me, both personally, and at work.
