ITT: Self improvment Books

/lit/erally have never read one

+1 for Nathaniel Branden

I'm about half way through with How to Win Friends and Influence People, it's a good book but can sometimes be a bit too heavy with the anecdotes. It's the first self improvement book I've ever read and I want to continue exploring the medium.

Literature itself should be self-improving. You don't need to read BS "How to get rich and be successful" books. Read philosophy or lit.

Most of them is about self esteem and ego. Like it or not, people don't know how to get rid of their ego. They don't know how to build self esteem.
