uzumaki is a great piece of art,but the story is complete shit.the mangaka knows how to set up atmosphere and that feeling of claustrophobia,but his characters are all one dimensional and the story itself is nonsensical at times and it is never even explained why the humans turn bad shit insane.

Sandman is so jam-packed with historical allusions and literary references - I feel like it's the closest you can get to mental masturbation for anyone that appreciates Western canon. I was so disappointed when I read Gaiman's fiction.

A lot of stuff by Warren Ellis is good. The first thing I read by him was Orbiter.
It was okay, but I really like the subject matter.
