My single dad constantly says awful things about trans people on TV and in the news that scare me out of being open about it and seeking support.

Ive been looking for a job but nothing around here is doable for someone with my skill set(no skills due to flunking out of highschool from depression related issues) without having access to a vehicle, and my father won't help me learn how to drive or get my license.

Yeah. Though like I said it's all about balance. Some people here gave me the advice to focus on non transition stuff that way once transition was "done" (not that it's ever done) I would be in a good spot. But I took it too far and really put transition on the backburner. Now I'm at the point where I'm doing pretty okay in life but I am failing boymode and don't know how to go full time.

there are lots of theories about how Joan of Arc may have been FtM, etc. etc., but that stuff's just speculation. what we CAN infer is that yeah there have probably been millions and millions of people with gender dysphoria throughout history who never transitioned because it wasn't a thing and just lead miserable, awful lives or killed themselves for reasons left unexplained at the time. if someone has a rotting tooth but also just got their fingers chopped off one doesn't negate the other from existing, saying that gender dysphoria is a 'luxury' limited to first-worlders is nonsense.
