So far, it's not that bad. Before I knew for sure that we were in a V-way relationship, there was definitely a lot of stress for me about how I saw relationships versus what was actually happening, and my bf even got a little down at first, but once we started regularly being vocal about it and realized nothing had changed, things became really cool.
I talk very openly and always honestly with my partners and I do my best to make them understand that I'm invested. I tell them I love them very frequently and keep myself interested in their mundane goings on. And I try to get ample physical time with them when they are in my physical proximity. With my bf, it's easy because he lives with me, so it's more about when the new gf comes to visit.
Whenever she visits, we're all in the same place and she sleeps in my bed with us, me in the middle, that way we can all cuddle simultaneously.
We are open and honest about intimate matters, at least for the time being while we establish it as a reality. I haven't fucked or been fucked by the gf yet, but we have made out and handied each other, and bf knows.
The biggest issue is making sure that not only does he know, but he also understands that it doesn't change my behaviour toward him.

My gf is not trans.
