Well I'm sure there's some demand, but it is a fair bit of work to make a corset. Takes like 8-10 hours for a basic poly-cotton solid-coloured one with plain spiral boning or nylon boning. Takes even longer to make a corded corset, but I've heard they're a lot comfier, I've never tried one though since they usually take like 20+ hours to make. If you hand sew them oh god it takes forever lol
But couture corsets are all hand sewn.

I'd be more interested in doing waist training corsets rather than decorative corsets though so I'd think people on here would be more interested, especially mtf's. At 19 you're most likely in a pretty good spot. Men have late bone fusing compared to women, so you have until you're like 25-26ish to really really see zero results.

But even if you're later you'll still get some. Bone remodelling and bone cell turnover is a constant process in humans. No cell within your bones should be older than 10 years theoretically since that's the average turnover rate. They undergo constant remodelling and turnover throughout your life, and it's largely influenced by hormones and certain chemical exposure (xenoestrogens, like phytoestrogens, tend to have a stronger effect on bones than estrogen itself)
People on this board generally just simplify things because this board is horribly depressive just in general, but skeletal structure changes are actually quite a bit more complex than the "lol if you take hormones past 12 you're a hon" mindset.

Not saying you're gonna end up a 10/10 femboy but if you want to take hormones just take them. It's pretty obvious they'll put fat on your hips and butt, if they alter your bones then it's just a plus. It really depends what you want to get out of it in the end.

You can't change your ribs without a waist training corset. Also off-the-rack corsets are designed for women, and men and women have about a 1 to 1.5 inch difference in waist lines which can mean quite a bit.
If you pinch your abdomen in the wrong spot you might just choke your intestines or some other organ.

If you want to get rid of pectus excavatum you need a custom made corset since you need to apply the correct amount of pressure and do it safely.
Off-the-rack corsets can at best maybe take like 2 to 3 inches off your waist anyway, even if they're steel boned. They're just a waste of money. You'd be better off saving for a custom made one if you actually intend to waist train.

Not sure how informed consent is done in the US but in Canada it's done through your family doctor not a therapist. It's very very very hard to get to see lgbt therapists here and you'll be on huge waiting lists so they let family doctors do informed consent for hormones. Even if you want a therapist good luck getting one lol
If you want surgeries here it's easier to get your family doctor provide you notes and to leave canada. Like for mtf's to do the whole SRS spiel within canada takes years due to wait lists. You can just go outside canada on your own cost at any time though.

For legs waxing is easier though, depending on how much hair you have. I'm hairless above the waist, but chewbacca below the waist so I have to wax, an epilator just can't get through that much hair. I do use my epilator on my butt though since there's less hair there.
