Get the MyFitnessPal app and just scan barcodes and eat appropriate serving sizes of whatever you're eating. It's honestly not hard at all. Tedious probably, but it's not difficult.
If you can't do it you're honestly just giving yourself an excuse to be a mediocre piece of shit.

1000 calories a day is pretty rough. I'd aim more for 1400 or at least 1200. But try not to ever eat below 1000 cal a day if you're going that far. If you're eating barely fucking anything at all like that, make sure you're getting in a multivitamin and some fish oil to boot so you're getting at least some nutrition in.
