It shouldn't look as if fat (however much that may be) is being squeezed out from the top and bottom. It should feel supportive (ie your ass isn't left hanging out/ like it's being separated by the devil), and feel like it's laying on your skin rather than wrapped tightly.

When we define masculinity and femininity around traits that we see as virtues — and NOT on ridiculous stereotypes such as the hyper macho jock and the flaming, campy queen — we no longer have to see masculinity and femininity as a mutually exclusive set of characteristics. One can both have many masculine AND feminine traits, and that can be seen as very good thing.
For example, a man that is stoic under most circumstances but is emotionally intelligent enough to be capable of offering psychological assistance and comfort to those going through hardships likely has both feminine and masculine characteristics, and I don't think someone would ever see that kind of man as bad.
