You know, I've been at this tranny game for four years now (am 24 currently) and while life is overall better and some of my struggles have been laid to rest, it certainly hasn't fixed everything. At this point I have to wonder if transitioning was even a good choice because I'm still depressed these days, just less is all. I struggle to find meaning in any of this monotonous trail we call life. None of it feels important to me and at this point, I think it never will. All I do is just play the parts I'm told til I get home and then drink myself away, while I tell my bf that everything is okay, because anytime I say otherwise, it ends up in an argument. I think that I'm just destined to bathe in the madness as it is. I wish I were able to bear something positive out of this all, but really I think I'm just fucked in the head or something. I observe others progressing through their lives happily and anytime I hint at it not being so simple, I feel I get nothing but looks of lunacy and judgement. I think I've failed at humanity and I'm tired of pretending otherwise. It's not even a success thing either. I'm in grad school currently and every day I question why. Everyone repeats these seemingly empty phrases of "you did good", but at the end of the day, even if I managed to perform to the standards or even above, nothing is changed. I kindof just wish I were mentally deficient so as to not realize why everything is so meaningless.
