Maybe this is a bit fearmongery and not applicable to anyone, but it's how I see it. I already fell for the "male puberty will fix my want to be a girl" claims, which is why I didn't transition when I was a kid despite a supportive family. I'm not going to fall for the "wait 30 years and see if your dysphoria goes away" shit.

I did not get any real answers from last time, so I am posting again. To try to avoid any neurological/ psychological effects from the HRT, would it be best to try to select a SERM or other estrogen receptor agonist, and AA that does not readily pass through the blood-brain barrier? I am fine with not having all feminizing effects (i.e. breast growth) if needed. Bicalutamide does pass through the blood-brain barrier in humans.

Yes, that's why "AGP" isn't a real thing. The diagnostic criteria for it is shoddy (if you act too feminine it's because you're a fetishist and get off on it, if you don't act feminine enough it's because you're actually a man). If you're not some twinky guy who had only female friends growing up and always had a sexual and romantic interest in men then you're AGP and not trutrans.

Also, just because AGP isn't real doesn't mean that there aren't indeed retarded fetishists among us. The difference is that crossdresser/sissy fetishists or whatever like being men, they don't want to be women. If they were women there wouldn't be any of the humilation associated with dressing female which is what their kink comes from in the first place. Being trans and being aroused at the idea of sex with men or women as a woman does not make you a fetishist AGP crossdresser or whatever, because cis women also get aroused by thoughts of sex with people. Hell, it's not even unusual for cis women to get aroused just by wearing certain types of clothes, just because a trans woman has a similar reaction doesn't mean she's a male fetishist and not actually trans.

Basically what I'm saying is that your fetishes and kinks don't really have anything to do with your gender identity. Even stuff that logically could only be experienced by one sex (eg, pregnancy) has fans on both sides (and I mean actually being pregnant yourself, not just knocking someone up). If your kink or fetish or whatever is something that occurs in both sexes, then there's no reason to assume that a trans person isn't truly the sex they claim or whatever because they share that kink.
