Can I use a rifle buffer with a mid length barrel? I plan to get an 18inch mid and use it with my A1 stock.

I feel like it would make it even more smooth than a rifle/rifle combo. My thinking is based off the midlength buffer with sub 14.5 carbine gas length barrel making the rifle smoother to shoot.

The Semi mode is pretty atrocious. Worse than a $30-$60 upgraded mil spec ALG ACT, PSA EPT, or BCM PNT.

It is about on par with an exceptionally shitty mil spec basically.
