i can appreciate that perfectly aligned screw
>>35066032
>>35066038
what is the great difficulty of the workmanship regarding it?
>>35066057
>>35066066
>>35066057
from a machinist perspective, it's getting the threads matched perfectly with the tapped hole, which I'd assume it's not loosened to achieve alignment.
could be that they tapped and pre-fixed the screw to tight fit before cutting the groove.
>>35066088
>>35066095
how are screws held secure?
just tension?
or some resin or adhesive for gun-use making them come loose?
>>35066107
now with this one we're going further back in time
>>35065721
oh wonderful
a fantastic misspelling
and in the thread title
perfect
>>35066124
>>35066131
>>35066107
it's tension between the head of the screw and its' threads, being the head of the screw bolted or tapered against the material that it holds down.
all of these being the latter and seated in a chamfer. excessive jolting can loosen of course, but there are ways around that, like in the bottom right of >>35066066
where a radius was cut in the main screw and a locking screw seated into it.
