Because legally you can't remove the factory markings from a firearm. I mean there is a process where you can petition the ATF for a relocation of markings but I don't believe anyone has tried for fear of dog death so markings remain in place. It's why if you ever wanted to engrave a foreign pistol you have to either find an importer without an obnoxious rollmark or find an example that was brought into the country prior to 1968. It does mean my Steyr Hahn could be engraved but sadly my FEG Hi-Power couldn't be due to a massive KBI rollmark.

MGS3 was so shit. MGS3, and here's why.

MGS1+2 haven't aged all that well gameplay wise. If you don't care about that, play MGS1, if you're only going to play a single title from the series only. MGS4 is too reliant on the previous games, but it has the best gameplay from the original formula, and has quite the /k/ aesthetics going for it. And if you never played 2 and 3 at a minimum, playing Ground Zeroes, Phantom Pain, or Peace Walker and Portable Ops is pointless because the story is too reliant on 2+3. 3 is best because it has the best gameplay from the entry titles, which is nice and refined and more expansive than 2+1, but also chronologically the earliest point of the series, so you can just jump in with zero prior knowledge of the series.
