Is a TA-31F a decent option for 3-gun? I've had some issues with up close shooting (<10yds) but not horrible. Considering selling it and just buying a red dot and ammo.

Maybe I should just shoot a 3 gun event before making a decision.

I took off my optics entirely. I covered up the sensitive bits on my sights, as well as anything rubberized. Paint won't stick to the rubber. After that just close your dust cover and put a mag in and blast away.

I think I also covered up the QD cups. You don't have to, but I did.

Well boys I went to the range today to try out my 2 builds.

Bad news was the crappy BCG I got from PSA crapped out on me (looks like the carrier key came loose). Is it fixable??

Good news is the thread on Suppressor I got recently worked like a charm with some Blue Loctite. Even shooting it until it was too hot to touch and attempting to unscrew it did not break it loose. So im incredibly happy with my AR pistol.

Yep the vortex originally belonged to the AUG, and I've put the Acog on the AR but I like the look and feel of the variable on it better. The goal optic for it is some higher end 1-6, 1-8, or 2.5-10
