No, only the one you replaced to the file type your system is running on. Wait.......how many drives does your laptop have? What is on the drive right now? If you've only got the one that was replaced trying hooking it up and turn it on. They may have installed everything for your laptop on it already.
>>
>>35008892
It says there are multiple hard disk drives but I only replaced the 500gb one, which I guess is storage.
>>
>>35008921
Will it boot up and run now without that drive in? If it will, hook that drive up and if your computer wants to format it let it. After that should be gtg.
>>
>>35008933
It's a pain to take out the hard drive so I'm not going to take it out but it's telling me in the instructions to click yes if I want to delete all data on internal storage drives or click know if I want to format the system Drive Olney. Which do I click?
>>
>>35008921
Multiple partitions, one will have the Lenovo drivers and software along with the OS, the other will have your normal drive data.

You should be youtubing this before you wipe everything and end up having to do this shit manually.

Also, I have to send back my old hard drive, how do I delete everything that's on it?
>>
>>35008974
Well it's a new disk, it shouldn't have any data on it to begin with so go ahead and format all drives.

Your old drive died and the data is unrecoverable, correct?
>>
>>35008960
This, take a breather.

Sort out which its going to format. You don't want to touch your system drive, only the storage drive, specifically the one you replaced.

>>35008974
That reads like a complete recovery. You shouldn't NEED to do that but it may be for the best.

Fuck it, do what they say, worse case scenario is you have to redo it all over again. And maybe buy or pirate Win10.

Win 10 should be licensed to that mobo from the manufacturer, there's a key in his owners info or on the laptop itself he can use to reinstall if necessary.

This is a brand new AR (no name) with a collapsible stock and the bolt catch doesn't engage even when manually cycling the action. This is my first AR but the few i've shot never had this issue.

Could it be a weak spring in the bolt catch itself?

Folding stock is a non-issue for me. DI vs Piston, really is not something of actual concern. Weight, sure, but for $2k you can build a lightweight and reliable AR. I do not want a SOPMOD stock or SMR. If I change the stock it will either be a VLTOR emod or m93/f93, if I change the rail I'll probably just get a "monolithic" upper. More than likely VIS-3 or mega. If by some miracle I have the patience to save enough for an LMT I'd prefer to just get a complete rifle and swap my trigger.

Otherwise, rifle light (m300 or m600 depending on what kind of deals I can find), then optic. Settled on either a 3.5/4x ACORN, Valdada 1x:6x/1x:4x/3x or possibly p4xi if I can snag one on the cheap. Does anyone have any experience with the any of the Valdada quick switch LPV Scopes or their fixed 3x? I like everything about their features except for the weight, but from what I've gathered the glass is very clear and they gather light well. I'm not sure about whether or not I'll like the reticles they have either. ACSS has been okay, but my favorite so far had been the cross hair that I've used on a friend's TA31.

So you dont care about sample size? Battlefield vegas should be all you need then
>>
>>35010455
photobucket needs to fuck the fuck off
>>

>So you dont care about sample size?
Of course, that comes with good science and empirical evidence
>>
>>35010452
No :( I have a 200 ft tape. It's a fucking pain in the ass.
I should be done with the tower in a two or three weeks and will post pics then.
I ended up needing 1/8" steel cable the top floor, I've got to replace the wood fencing currently acting as my floor (lul), build a rest bench on the top floor, and cover it with camo netting to keep the sun out.
>>
>>35010482
Are there any high sample size, high round count, extended duration, side by side comparisons of two service rifles published anywhere? How else csn we show the AR is more reliable than an m14?
>>
>>35010497
Is 100 yards all you can manage with your terrain? Are you building something like a standing blind?
>>
>>35010518
Better question: does it even matter? You are not going to war with anyone, not even against your fellow citizens in whatever fantasy scenario you subscribe to.

Pick your favorite and get gud. That's all there is to it.

100 yards is stretching what I will be able to hit in the woods. There's too many trees.
The platfor is 8'x6'x16'
The second floor is about 10' off the ground and should put me level with 80 yard mark.
This is a really crude drawing of it.

Cut them down. I'm just now able to see 350 yards on my long shot after cutting 4 big trees down. I've still got 1 big one to drop and a bunch of small ones to clear to have a decent alley.

Why look out for cars when you shoot over them.

They wouldn't think much of it. He'd be shooting clear above the cars.
>>
>>35010702
Why? Look at the surrounding hillside and see if dropping a couple of trees can't substantially increase the length of a shot. Hell just trimming branches and open up new opportunities.
>>
>>35010729
I could probably cut down some branches and the smaller trees,
but I'm not going to chop down the larger ones.
The deer feel safe in the tree line despite how often I kill them.

Have any of you ever built and AR and sold it on armslist for a profit?

I was planning on building my first AR and surprised how cheap it is compared to the guns armslist. Why aren't there many sub $500 guns on there?
