Also blogpost update regarding Adams Arms Enforcer G17 slide assembly as opposed to talking about dude's asses with COG.

They originally quoted me 4-6 weeks turn around time. They've have my slide assembly for 3 weeks as of Monday, and are now saying that they've decided to just give me a whole new slide assembly. This means waiting for the next production batch however, so I'm looking at another 4-5 weeks as of right now, bringing the total turnaround time to 7-8 weeks.
They paid for shipping to them, and I assume will pay for shipping back to me. So far they haven't charged me a dime, but are going agonizingly slow. I'm pretty neutral about the whole thing because I'm trying to reserve judgement until I get the slide assembly back in my hands. The original slide assembly had 3 main problems:
Irons weren't the correct irons sights. Was supposed to come with Tritium night sights, came with standard sights. The irons came loose after less than 100 rounds. The mounting holes for the RMR were not the right tap thread spec and depth to fit the Trijicon torx machine screws that came with the RMR. Also was having a lot of failures to go into battery.
