I think it'd only be a small matter of time before domestic production of russian calibers begins now that they don't have to compete so hard with russian ammo, or just a ramp-up of imports from countries that aren't banned.
I just hope american companies don't concentrate on quality so much as quantity if it means ammo will be 20c/r vs 30+c/r. I don't need 100% consistent velocities and bullet weights for just plinking around.
It could still be a rough few years while that transition happens though. Either way, I've got enough stocked to easily ride it out in any caliber and will continue to shoot my 556/308/12ga aks on the regular.

Those Yugo 5.56 guns are cool but I'd prefer a WASR, especially as your first and cuz 7.62x39 ammo and mags are cheaper. I the M90NP is pretty cool though and using STANAG mags makes them pretty cool for a 5.56 AK even if it's really ugly
