I'm a Swissfaq that has considered getting an AR15. It seems I can quite easily get a Hera Arms here. Been thinking about US080 Upper and LS060 Lower.

Is nitrocarburating the barrel worth it? Is Hera Arms good? Is this a good choice generally? Will be my first rifle, so mostly all-around (but has to work decently out to 300m). There is also "Schmeisser" if anybody has any info on them.
