Those are definitely black in the picture, although there is a chance that they're plum painted black. Notice the hinge latch has been painted black, matching the rest of the receiver, which is not factory condition. There's a chance the whole rifle was painted without removing the furniture. Depends on the model and price. if you can get it for around 300$ and it's in good shape and 9x18 go for it. Mags are expensive so if it doesn't come with a spare or two try and talk em down.
Mine is a joy to shoot but i have a hogue grip on it which is pretty comfy (though larger then dick grip).

Trust me you will thank yourself with the extra cash. Anything new with firearms will piss you off if you or anyone else ever scratches it. If it already comes with wear and character you will enjoy the rifle more and not baby it so much.

Don't get me wrong some rifles are not to just be tossed about and even then I have a friend with a 4,500 Ar set up who just tosses it on the ground with little regard. End of the day to each their own.

Honestly I have no interest in dealing with that again. It was fun then but ya'll enjoy it now. Also shipped even for 1,000 is far more than I spent for those I bought. I also had to go through 1,000 mags and clean, sort, grade, function test, and then put up and ship.

I sold my cheapest that they are selling for $4 each for $3 or $3.50 and my functional but BFPU for $5/$5.50 and my used/great for $7.50 New/NOS for $9/$10. So I take all the guess work out of the equation and offer the same and even cheaper varying prices. If anything I made that deal easier for anon's or anyone else. Sure I made my money but I also did the work to make it.

If I were to buy these the best case scenario at $5.00 a mag on my buying end would be do double/triple them for gun show resale. It's not a terrible idea but it does take a fucking lot of time and is back breaking work.

Well it comes with 6 bakelite mags, a bunch of krebs parts, some zhukov furnature, 3 clear polish mags, and 2 tantal steel mags, and about 140 round of mixed ammo. He wants $700. The Arsenal SM-13 is alright and pretty low although sometimes people have problems with them, ie mine was canted a bit and a few other people online had complaints. I'm going to take mine to a gunsmith at some point and see if they can cut down/file the top surface angle of the mount to correct the angle a bit. Also there really aren't any decent "top mounts" except for zenitco stuff. I'd avoid gas tube mount.
