Well /k/ommando's, I found one site that described the needed modifications to the bolt. Also, apparently a 7.62 Enfield extractor is a good upgrade.
Every single group that made reproductions stopped for a reason.
Godspeed.

So that thread size is wrong, too large in diameter.
Enfield did not use a standard thread on the No1 rifles instead using the Enfield profile.

Hmmm.

Oh?

Maybe there could be a business in making rifles in the style of a DeLisle out of cheap commercial guns like the Savage Axis or Ruger American.
Just a cheap and basic but good commercial sporter converted to .45ACP and 9mm, feeding from 1911 or Glock pistol magazines, with a 16" barrel. You'd have a steady supply of guns to use and all.
If HPA or SHUSH passes, they can obviously ship with the appropriate integrated suppressors to go.

That's certainly one idea.

Special Interest Arms used to make DeLisle replicas
nowadays, they're making 9mm bolt guns intended for suppression
they start with those oddball .22 TCM bolt carbined Armscor makes
cool shit actually
