Morning /k/
I got to thinking yesterday, I wonder how hard it would be to build a replica non-suppressed De Lisle carbine?
A short little .45 carbine seems like a great idea.
From what I've read getting the mag adapter right and the mags set up properly is the finnicky hard.
Thoughts, komrades?
I would probably want a suppressed one.

I've always wanted a suppressed one

This guys knows what's up
Valkyrie arms do repro De lisles for 2400 and 2000 with dummy can. For that price Id personally just make one out of a Mauser, but up to you.

Suppressing it would be ideal, but not an option currently.
A e s t h e t i c
I'm wondering if using a Thompson barrel like the original or a .45 blank would be easier.
Anyone?
Or you could just buy one

The hardest part is removing the barrel.
I bought one of the last SIA kits. Easy build but the extractor design is shitty and I broke mine. It doesn't really need it though, as long as you don't pussy foot around with the bolt. Have to run it like you're doing a mad minute otherwise they have problems feeding.

It's a bit of work.
You want details?

It can have some interesting malfunctions though. Bet you've never seen a gun to this.

can love bloom on the battlefield?
>>34759393
Yes please!
>>34759292
I could, but I already have the perfect budda'd MK III No1 a buddy gave me. Perfect excuse. Plus I like tinkering and modifying shit.
>>34759407
Is that backwards anon?
>>34761516
Not him, but look closer. It looks like the strangest extraction failure I've ever seen. The fired cartridge somehow got turned around and has the bullet of the next round inside it. You can see the rim of both cartridges.

Christ almighty now I see it.
>>34761721
exactly what happened
those things are operator as fuck. do it. suppress it, the AFT doesnt have to know.

>>34764556

>>34759407
Are you sure its not been made with kraut space magic?
>>34759317
>>34759407
Those seriously look butt fucking ugly.
I really don't understand "replicas" that look nothing like the originals. Of course, bubba doesn't have the skill or money necessary to create it correctly.
