Can we get a thread going about the different finishes on firearms? Pros and cons of specific types etc. Also, been looking at Robar roguard or NP3, anyone have experience with them? Is it a scam? Overpriced?

Apparently the NP3 finish is pretty cool, not sure about the value but the service seems pretty nice. I remember an article in Guns and ammo or another mag about robar finishes, I'll try to dig it up.

Stainless tends to cost a few bucks more. Even if it's just 20 bucks more the price difference is there across multiple gun types and manufacturers.
