The AMG-2 they made for M855A1 has been out for awhile now. The main focus seems to be the brake and a few other small changes to prevent cookoff with plastic ammo.

They're kind of a shit company that fucked everyone who preordered their uppers by shipping them to Ruben NFA first. It literally took years for people who preordered to get theirs even though their fuckbuddy dealers consistently had them in stock. Up until Brownells got them Ruben was literally the only place that consistently had the uppers.

Between those I'd opt for the G2X. The price difference is considerable, it's pretty apples and oranges. If you were cloning I'd say M952 but your not so I'd go with the cheaper and lighter option. Are you dead set on Surefire? Really the only thing I don't like about the G2X is the polymer body.

I think the 952 is like $600 bucks. As an alternative, because Im cheap as hell, check out Primary Arms weapon lights. They have one about G2 size that id machined from aluminum. I have one of their Ultimste Weapon lights and although it is large it is bright and very well made, especially for its price point.

You should get a hybrid device that is biased towards flash hiding. Closed Tine Warcomp would fit the bill and be pretty gucci, plus allow for a can later down the road. Straight brake/comps create a lot of blast that can be annoying for others around you, and friends you may or may not be shooting with. Straight flash hiders are perfect on DMR/SPR guns, but for a carbine that you're running you might want a little compensation.

No they are arguably the best two options, which are in part why it is such a challenging descision. I think the chevron gives better/faster acquisition, while the cross hairs may be more precise. Psi prefers the cross hairs because his eyes are poor, allegedly. I think CH must be paired with an RMR but the F model is not likewise constrained.

What all would cause a hard to pull charging handle? I did an Aero AR-10 build and cheaped out hard at first on the buffer, tube and spring and already had to replace the spring and buffer for it to cycle right. I also noticed the inside of the buffer is really rough, like it wasn't finished.
