Not exactly .308rounds times 7.62x39 is 91.53144 so as long as your bore has 7 lands and grooves for 13.07592 you are ok. 9 lands is 10.17016 and i wouldnt feel safe with anything less than 12.

0.308 inches is more or less the same as 7.62 millimeters so yes, however if you want to use an AK to shoot .308 Winchester/7.62x51mm NATO you are going to need an AK specifically chambered for the round (.308 Win and 7.62x51mm NATO are almost interchangeable in that a weapon chambered for one of them can also take the other but not vice versa, though I don't remember which way it was & am too lazy to check)

It's a neat pistol, pretty worthless as an SBR. Stock wriggles due to the dovetail adapter that holds the buttstock on to the receiver. Original Vzs don't have that problem because the curve in the stock rests on the back of the receiver.

I built mine off a parts kit and stripped lower, really easy just like an AR. Pretty accurate, can ring steel easily at 50 yards because it's a giant heavy handgun in .32ACP

I made mine out of an old Yugo that had no spring follower or base-plate, and a Bulgy 40rnder that had the front lug broken off.

I pulled the guts out of the bulgy, cut the spring down, and smooshed it all into the yugo body after i windowed it.

I live in the desert so it's sandy. Dry sand doesn't seem to gum it up, it seems like it's only wet shit. For being a complete cluster-fuck mag it works decently.

Hammer forged, nitrided, spiral fluted barrel, "monoforged" upper receiver that the handguard mounts directly to, which is stronger, lighter weight, and a true free float, all ambi controls, top notch quality and finish on all parts. Only the non-mlok for $1k. For some reason the mlok versions are still around $1500. I don't mount anything up there except a light though, and that usually gets mounted at the 12. I still think it's an interesting offering considering I haven't found a whole lot else in that price range with comparable features, and not a single thing in that price range with a wide range of ambi features on the lower.

I mean, it's between a $1k IC-DI and a $2.3k CQB-16.

You can build a decent AR for cheap, but a truly "good" AR will still be pricey. Luckily most people will get by just fine with "decent."

Personally I think my next build will use a Hodge Defense upper/rail and Ballistic Advantage barrel to make a recce gun with a LPVO on top. The lower I want to use has rollmarks for Capitol Armory in Cedar Park (where I live now) and Hodge is based out of my hometown of San Antonio, so there's a bit of sentimentality I'll pay extra for. I'd probably just get a full Hodge Carbine if they weren't still like $2K.

I have almost no knowledge of AKs. I really like the look of the the Hungarian AMDs specifically the AMD 65. I know these things are cheap, but are they worth a damn. Hello gents. I have a question concerning an AK-74 muzzle brake (24mm threads). I filed it down so it would fit snug, but should I worry about the exposed metal? Or should I attempt to blue that tiny portion of the muzzle brake? If so, how do I prevent the bluing agent from harming the finish on the edges of the brake? I admit, I don't want to re-blue the entire muzzle brake just to cover such a small spot. What do you guys think? And thanks in advance.

Because I bought it the summer I turned 18, shot it once, had some issues but didn't shoot it again since I went off to college and lived in a dorm for two semesters, back home the next summer, and didn't take it shooting until about a month after the 1 year warranty expired. Plus I figured it was a mag issue or something stupid and not a biggie so it wasn't on my mind, especially given that the second semester I failed hard in my calc and chem courses and I couldn't give two shits about it until I went shooting right before going back ;-;

Stop with the bad info. Clearview can't drill propper gas ports. They are using a countersink drill bit, which means it will erode very quickly in a 4140 barrel. If they used propper tooling the barrel would not be a issue
