ARs aren't like other rifles, the trigger sucks and the sights are weird at first. If you've been shooting with traditional sights and just about any other trigger(even AKs have better triggers than mil spec AR) your whole life, then you essentially have been spoiled and will need to spend more time practicing in order to be proficient with an AR.
