Open carry isn't bad unless it's overdone. It's good for people to see others exercising their 2A right and surprise...nothing much happens. Think about it - 50 years ago, people freaked the fuck out seeing an interracial couple, and until maybe a decade ago, the average person freaked out seeing a gay couple in public. Years of desensitization mean that today, a couple of interracial trannys could run around naked on a football field at halftime and people would barely react.

Overdoing it is hauling your AR out for sling carry on the downtown square or the mall. Or carrying anything with a fucking drum mag.
