>Guys, G17 vs G19?

How big are your hands?

If you never plan to conceal it, just get the 17 for the extra capacity.

If you might conceal it, or if you or a SO with small hands might use it a lot, get the 19.

Both are great.

Do you fail to grasp the concept of "add on felonies". Nobody is going around checking for people shouldering sig braces, measuring your mag capacities etc. Its an add-on charge that gets tacked onto or used against you when they have nothing else.
>"but i dont do anything bad why would they use them against me"
Gee maybe someone really hates you (clearly you are super popular on arg) or maybe your dumbshit neighbor suspects you of being a fucktard.

Have a story that happened to friend
>be my friend working pizza delivery job
>always working nights
>rent a house with 2 other people also working pizza jobs
>neighbor catlady sees young males coming and going all night
>calls cops and says they look sketchy
>cops assume its a methlab
>joint DEA/ATF taskforce blows door in half during middle of the day
>tears up walls looking for methlab
>dont find a methlab
>find one roommate has two small baggies of pot
>DEA told them they wouldnt charge him for pot if they wouldnt pursue legal action for nearly being killed by a DEA raid team
>DEA pays no damages
>Friend has to pay to rebuild this rental house that now has broken doors, walls, flashbang burns, etc
You're one thick retard so you should really think about the implications of such a scenario implying to you.

The smaller Gen4 backstrap is thinner than a stock Gen3 backstrap. One of the main differences between the two generations is that the Gen3 grip is considered thicker.

Trijicon says they have a warranty. Is it not actually very good?

youre seriously over-thinking this.

It does not matter what the memes about the guns are; what matters is how they fit your hand. The internet wisdom about which generation has a thicker backstrap won't change the dimensions of either gun, so go try both and pick the most comfortable.

holy fuck
>>
>>34403928

Use a bridge

I'm simply curious as to how a frame mounted bridge is less likely to break the red dot than slide mounted. Maybe it is obvious but I don't quite see. Aren't they built to handle the shock of the action?

They attached to the lower frame, so they don't get the full shock of the slide being thrown back and forth. Also easier to keep the dot on target.

Shopping around for my first build, just for some occasional recreation plinking so I don't want to go overboard. Here's what I've got lined up so far:

Ballistic Advantage 16" 5.56 mid-length govt CMV barrel (110)
Tom's Tactical upper receiver (65), black nitride BGC (80), charging handle (14), and LPK w/ standard grip (50)
Strike Industries J Comp V2 muzzle brake (35) & low profile steel gas block (26)
Anderson stainless gas tube (10)
Trinity Force Omega stock kit w/ buffer tube assembly (20)

Haven't decided on the handguard or sights yet, I already have an Aero stripped lower. Am I on the right track with this or what?

Sounds good to me, but you can definitely get a better rail for maybe $10-$20 more.
BCM KMRs aren't too much more. ALG has a better mounting system. There are so many rail options out there, and the friction system that MI uses is objectively worse than a lot of what is available.

It probably won't be soon, and even then it might have some hiccups like the Gen 4 did when it initially came out. I'd rather let other people beta test it if they really are making the changes they claim to be making for the Gen 5.

Personally I like the aesthetic and dimensions of the 17 more than the 19. G19s always looked kinda "midget" to me. Plus this is going to be more of a /gq/ gun. Like I said I've got an RMR coming in the mail, a light will be going on it, plus threaded barrel. All that stuff makes me lean towards the 17.

P320 and the P10C were definitely on my radar. I dropped them because of the limited aftermarket as compared to Glocks. For example how am I supposed to get my RMR on a P10C? Custom slide milling and then cerakoting that is going to cost upwards of $200. Same with the P320 unless I want to go full Sig shill and get the RX with the Romeo, which doesn't make any sense since I already ordered the RMR and the RMR is obviously more of a combat optic than the Romeo.

Both the P10C and the P320 beat the Glock in terms of trigger though, but overly focusing on the trigger feel is how I ended up with the Sig I've got right now.

Hey guys, just put together my first AR15, but I have a small hanguo. The aluminum mags that I got with it from pSA can be pulled out of the mag well after I slam them in. Unless I really slam hard, they can come out. Gravity can't pull them out, but if I tug they slide on out. But when I get them to lock in, I have to press the mag release super hard with my thumb to get them to come out.

Thoughts? No round chambered, safety is on while doing this.
>>
>>34404799

Yep.

If you are looking for maximum changeability, buy a compact with a threaded barrel and a low profile thread protector.

That way you can go up or down with impunity by changing the slide for full or grip for sub compact.

So you get
Full-
Carry
Compact
Subcompact

and whatever crazy combinations you decide with the option of suppressing them and the option to use any size mags.

Nice hat.

I called Polymer 80 and talked to their product guy. Well more accurately they called me back after they missed a couple of my calls. Super friendly. Confirmed that an updated full size PF940 is coming out soon. It will basically be a scaled up PF940C. Will come in FDE, OD, and Grey after the initial release of black. He said "month or so". Safe to assume by the end of the year.

Supposedly there's an exotic pet owner nearby.
We used to see more alligators up here though. People would catch them in Florida and raise them in bathtubs until they got like 3 feet long then release them in the local lakes. The water is too cold so they'd just hang around on shore with their mouth open all day. That's what happens when there's not much for entertainment.

kek, I had a friend who went up to a fish and reptile show and came back with a baby caiman. He just kept it in his apartment until he moved and then gave it to someone else who then gave it to someone else. I don't think anyone knows who has it now or where it went. My guess is it was dumped in a local lake or nearby national park.

Hi, this is Mark LaRue. You may recall back in 2008 I killed a nice Colorado bull elk at 405 yards, in a howling wind, with one shot from a 6.5 Grendel. I may hold the world distance record for the 6.5G bagging an elk.

We are wrapping up a small-run of our new gorgeous 6.5 Grendel rifles adorned in Flat Dark Earth and you can place your order right now.

Don't hesitate if you want one and be advised the 125 FDE 7.62 rifles we offered on Jan. 1st, 2016 sold out in four minutes flat.

Our recent run of 375 FDE 7.62 rifles crashed the website. It took nearly an hour to recover, so the run offering was delayed a bit and took just under 2 hours (but it was 3 times as many). Anyhow, get after it if you want one.

Now, to these 6.5 Grendel rifles ... these are a modified version of our Stealth 2.0 chassis, in Flat Dark Earth.

I've told our guys and gals to toss in a free barrel wrench and a couple boxes of free shells (ha, "shells", that's my grandpa talking). One box is a Hornady factory load, the other is a custom precision load. You can try both out and buy more from us later if you so desire. Moreover, since this is "THE YEAR OF THE GRENDEL", gun stores all over have all sorts of great 6.5 Grendel ammo to choose from ... it's everywhere.

There's one more thing - like the last run of rifles, we lined up a scope that's perfect for it, a Burris MTAC 1.5-6, with an illuminated BDC style reticle. Same style scope/reticle I whacked that bull elk with back in '08. If you take the scope option, we will mount it in the rings and sight it in ... and don't hold me to it, but I will likely shoot you a group to confirm zero.

I probably left some highlights out, but as folks that buy our rifles know, no quality stone has been left unturned.

We're hellbent on helping you hit what you're aiming at.
Enjoy, and thanks for your continued business.

Mark LaRue (elk slayer)
