Yes we're still in contact. A lot of it. We haven't really talked about feelings at all, but she's told me a lot about her life there and has said she really misses me.

All of my family is in Oregon, and I have a full-time job here selling guns. I love her and I know she feels that way about me too, but I don't know if I can just pull up roots completely to be with her. Don't know about first date, Mine had to work up to it. She is a gamer so she was use to hanging with me and my friends. But I would go to range without her and I think she started to feel left out of the fun.

She was born in Newtown and after the sandy hook shit storm it hit close to her heart and she started to change, for the good. We live in FL now and dealt with the Trayvon shit too. She takes care of her handicapped mother taking her to doctors and stores and with news of thugs always screwing around she came to me one day and said maybe it was time to get her carry licence. You could see her instinct to protect her loved ones setting in.

I got lucky, for the first time I took her to an indoor range were we could rent handguns and there was an NRA instructor there. Told her to have an open mind from things I told her and listen to his advice too and I kept quiet and watched. He took her under his wing and helped her with some basic tips, it made her feel comfortable around strangers and firearms very well.

I use to work for a lgs so I'am pretty good with with people new to firearms,I took it at her pace, she still has no interest in shooting shotguns but she can hit golf balls at 100yrd with her AR, not too bad with a mag or 2 out of my 10mm and has shot my 44mag but not crazy about it.

She had a blast suffering in the Florida heat just to shoot fun switches all day. We plan to start taking more advanced classes soon too. Take from this what you will but We don't go out drinking or shit like that and we are very happily married so it's all worth it in the end.
