It should be 4 pounds, 2 pounds first stage, 2-2.5 pounds second stage. Both mine are 3 pounds 15 ounces and never stray more than 2-3 ounces +/-.

What you're describing sounds like what a Geissele feels like when you use oil instead of grease.

I recommend you test the trigger with a gauge first of all. Then remove the trigger (it's a pain in the ass if you have to remove the safety, I know, sorry), completely clean the pins AND pin holes with solvent on q-tips, remove the solvent with clean q-tips, and put just the tiniest bit of Aeroshell 6 grease in the pin holes before reinstalling. Maybe schlick the pins in and out a little to lube it up first.

Then try the trigger gauge again.

3k for once fired .223 brass for $125 isn't all that bad. On the high said I've heard of 1k 5.56 brass going for as much as 10 cents per case but that is during panics and stuff. On the low side $30 per 1k so you got a decent deal. I've almost got 3k 5.56 brass saved up right now, and about 700 of 9mm.

kak can and kx3/kx5 are identical. When the stamp came back from my krink and I cut off the can and put on the booster you really could tell the difference by just feeling the amount of trigger slap due to increased bolt velocity.
