Can't really help you there. I bought mine because I already had one of everything else I wanted at the time. They're not super popular so there's a bunch of them available, same with parts and mags. Not a whole lot is super cheap about an AUG though. I think extra barrels are $450+, stocks are $400+ and a spare parts kit is $160 (from PJs).

Now I want to get into a WASR and maybe an NPAP underfolder but I should really buy more mags and ammo. The ride never ends.

I could feel something coming on for about ten minutes, so I kinda worked my way to the back of the group to avoid attention (pro tip: this is when you should lie down). Since I was in a socially compromising position to be walking away, I tried to tough it out like a dumbass. My vision slowly went completely grey and I couldn't hear anything, heart rate was through the roof and I was at the very edge of losing consciousness. Post pics dude. If there are not limitations on barrel length, here's what I'd do:

>press the fsb back on but press it as far back as it will go, make sure it's straight
>cut the barrel down so you have enough room for the threads you'll have to cut
>cut the threads
>re-crown the barrel
There's no reason to fuss about barrel length with 7.62x39, which is presumably what yours is. A 12-13" barrel is fine and it's a lot better than possibly dealing with having a bunch of holes or having to weld up the barrel, etc

They're good, just not the shitty ones with 16" US made barrels. Hungarian AK's have machining that's about on par with Polish rifles. The only problem is that the handguards are their own special thing. You can fit most AKM handguards with a bit of modification and they take normal AKM/AK-74 pistol grips. Same with the FCG.
