16" barrel, carbine gas system, lightweight BCG, its the franklin armory BFS lower receiver you can find on their website. Gen 3. I've shot about 600 rounds through it so far, no issues, capable ot full auto m4 speed. Lots of fun.

Okay first of all retard the vast majority of forged lowers out there are the same spec as Aero lowers because they are fucking Aero lowers. Secondly, I have 9 other USGI mags that all drop free from the same lower. USGI mags are good, but not the end all. Feed lips are more prone to going out of spec than either steel (assuming non heavy ass full steel mag) or polymer. I'm not saying you have to offload all your USGI mags.

Yea those.
I really want a movie about the Fort Michilimackinac Massacre and the serious suck that everyone went through. Imagine canoeing your ass up from Detroit to the bridge to rescue people who were out on Beaver island.
>>34357443
...
Battle of the Bulge
The Dirty Dozen
>>34357459
>the dirty dozen
I still need to watch that.
>>34357443
3 kings was amazing in a B list way. It did catch me offguard when it got serious for a bit tho
>>34357449
that whole period must have been something else. going from europe to frontier michigan must have been like traveling to the moon for them
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/8th_(The_King%27s)_Regiment_of_Foot#American_Revolutionary_War_.281768.E2.80.931785.29
the regiment in MI through most of the rev war period had some crazy exploits
>>34357477
Yeah, not every movie needs to be a masterpiece to be good. If a movie KNOWS what it's about, and isn't trying to bait an oscar, it can still be fun. Three Kings is like that.
There needs to be more Korean War movies.
MASH is casual as fuck. And more about Vietnam than Korea.
Pork Chop Hill and Field of Honor are kind of mediocre.
Korea needs its "Full Metal Jacket" or "Saving Private Ryan" one day.
>What part of the Korean War would you center your movie around?
I'd like to see something about the Chinese crossing the Yalu, and the retreat back to the 38th parallel.
>>34357514
Chosin Reservoir
>>34357514
fighting the chinese zerg rush would make a great movie
Inchon would too
>>34357553
>fighting the chinese zerg rush
That's what I was thinking. Maybe show it from both sides like "Letters from Iwo Jima" and depict the Chinese as victims of Communist ideology, lambs led to the slaughter in the name of Geopolitics.
>>34357514
>There needs to be more Korean War movies.
wait for the next one, that one will get tons of movies
>>34357553
>>34357514
What a movie involving Giddy and the battle with his mountain of debt?
>>34357563
would be really boring
>>34357568
Just make your debt monster like godzilla.
>>34356830
if that rifle had beamz and a quieterer tube it would be perfect
>>34357558
I would like to see a scene where a chinese army swarms over a mountain hill like ants and a a few platoons deal with it helped by arty
>>34357572
except this would be like a small dog, not godzilla unless you think 25k is the most debt ever in human history
>>34357574
Or GIs firing their guns until they melt. Until the thousand yard stares kick in from the endless murder. Until their psyches crack from the weight of gunning down thousands of fearless, charging Chinese soldiers.
>>34357586
Yes, pretty much. We've all seen MASH, lets see what fueled MASH.
>>34357584
>25k
Damn dude, I borrowed less than that to get 2 Bachelor's degrees.
>>34357596

>implying not acting like a trained monkey and posting guns on demand means I'm noguns

Again no, MSD
>>34358256
Its not even a mk18 dumb fuck. God not every AR15 is a copy of a military rifle. You noguns summer fags are legit retarded.

>>34358263
Oh right, it's just an "inspired" build
>talks shit about others guns being ugly
>gets mad when his are called ugly
>>34358267
AFG a shit, stubby is what you probably want to use
The little turd at Cabela's mounted my scope wrong. He's got this thing canted like 5Ā° ccw. Plus it looks like he torqued one side all the way down and then the other side instead of a star pattern.
Christ almighty, can't trust anyone. Gotta get my own torque wrench now
>>34358282
Its not even an inspired build. Pls go back to /r/eddit no guns fag.
>>34358291
>letting someone else work on your gun to do trivial shit like that
This is what you deserve
>>34358291
>>34358291
>Not mounting your own scope
>Expecting some dumb fuck who works at Cabela's to know what he is doing
>>34358301
I could see having a real gunsmith put on a $1000+ scope on your rifle but never some fuck that works at Cabela's.
>>34358301
Oh please, it's a free service and they have tool that I don't like an in-lb torque wrench, vise blocks, and laser bore sight. I mean sure I could get pretty damn close to matching torque specs by feel, hell that's what I do at work all day, but I figured I'd take it there and get it back more accurate and level than what I could manage in my garage ya know
Fuckin turds lol
>>34358311
Yeah, maybe I'll just save the gas and fix it at home
>>34358311
>>34358317

Literally a 15 dollar scope level

Alright, now you're just being a faggot.
>>34358341

Yes

I dont think I will like a VFG though.

What do you mean? What's wrong with him wanting to send a cashiers check for the rifle?
>>34358896
It is a common format for scams. Like word for word. Just search armslist scams and you can read up on it.
>>34358905
Paypal gift or gtfo desu
>>34358918
exactly
>>34358905
How do they scam you if they send you a cashiers check and you wait to ship until it clears? Forgive me I'm not familiar with Armslist scams but am about to open an account and would like to know.
>>34356551
Seriously. What the fuck goes through these people's heads? Do people actually buy this shit?
>>34358932
That is the thing a lot of people don't wait for it to clear. Scams aren't really designed to work on careful people they are intended to maybe fool one or two retards and eventually the money adds up. In reality it is a pretty weak scam as anyone familiar with cashing checks should know to wait but I guess they keep doing it because people keep falling for it.
Also the guy replied back to me with the next copypasta email so I hope he really does send a check made out to Jake Blues to Wrigley Field
>>34358949

Forgot link
>>34358932
Here's the thing. A bank will front funds to your account before a check has actually cleared an issuing bank. If it comes back bad, your bank will take the money back, but you've already shipped an item.
Unless it's a legit USPS money order, wait _at least_ two weeks after funds are posted to your account to ship anything to someone who paid with a check.
>>34358958
>$2,800
>looks like ass
weeeew
>>34358982
>custom build
This pisses me off so goddamn much
>>34358952
In some cases scams make the initial contact as poor and sloppy as possible to filter out people who would catch on to the scam in later stages
A good example is Nigerian prince scam so basically any scam that you get in your email
Sending emails is basically free for the scammer but emailing Marx about where to send money and sending out fake checks and stuff like that all takes time and effort
By making their initial contact email full of misspellings and grammar errors anyone who is smart enough to smell the scam later when they actually get a check will be scared off by how sketchy at all this
then you're just left with senile Baby Boomers and actual retards who will wire money
>>34358994
AR and ricer owners have ruined the term "custom". it used to mean a one of a kind hand crafted item. now its just magpul and some strike industries....

kys normie.
Why is there not a lot of reviews on Aero rails? They are cheap as fuck but I am afraid to get one.
>>34359114
I'll bet whatever loser made this probably has a Ruger or other normie tier rifle with an Eotech on it.
>>34359198
id rather sell to autistic children from 4chan than scammy replies from armslist. what a time to be alive
>>34359218
they're thick and not terribly aesthetic
>>34359218
Because they are trash rails. Get a geissele you poor fag

Bc they are ugly
>>34359230
>>34359234
I really dont care about how they look. I only care if they work.
Is this NOD edition
Is it worth picking up a PVS14 now or should I wait a while for FLIR to shit out something new and dank?
>>34359239
>I really dont care about how they look.
but thats the most important aspect in purchasing parts

>Is it worth picking up a PVS14 now or should I wait a while for FLIR to shit out something new and dank?
you should what for a hybrid set if anything, thermal is great for identification but NV is better for navigating

>not spending 18k on gucci white phos

Technically on paper, yes.
>>34359300

>>34359298
I was thinking a Q14B on one eye and a PVS14 on the other.
But then they fucked up the q14b so pffffffffffffffffffffft.
>>34359300
hey, good shit man.
>>34359279
Is there a better way to spend gbp?
That's part of the reason I'm considering ordering a mk23 today.
That and having a second barrel converted to .460 Rowland sounds fun
>>34359317
For when you gotta kill the paper monsters extra dead?
>>34359313
could get that pas 29a
>>34359317
spending gbp on good/enjoyable things that upset arg is one thing, spending on subpar things out of spite is another

Mine was 780 3 years ago and the only thing I've done differently is stop using my CCs completely.
I took out a mortgage too, which could be why it jumped through the roof.
>>34359345
The aero rails are great rails though. Just cuz your little manlet hands dont fit good on it doesnt make it trash
>>34359353

that explains it, i dont have a mortgage or even a car note
