Don't get me wrong. I sold my 10.5" almost a year ago now, and I'm itching for an 11.5" build. If that happens I will certainly invest in several hundred rounds if not 1k of some heavy 5.56 for specific "duty" use out of that AR.
But I'll still get an 11.5" over a 10.3" because Wolf gold is like 26.5cpr right now and the bottom line is that 55 grain is the most commong 5.56/.223 projectile by far.

Even at this point in time, the most widely available and affordable (sub $0.70 per round) heavy bullets in 69 and 77 grain are the IMI bullets and supposedly they aren't very accurate.

I mean you're at the point where ten loaded magazines is $300 of ammo.

Navyfag here. Whats a good cheap muzzle device you guys would recommend? Literally all of my AR shooting has been with the issued A2 flash hider, and I want to try something new if performance can be improved.

Also, a genuine thanks to the guys who said to build my upper myself. I feel way more comfortable with the build and it was a lot of fun.

Honestly, it's hard to beat the A2 for the price. There are a lot of people trying to do the whole enhanced A2 thing for way too much money like BCM and other companies but they seem to fall short and don't excel in either flash reduction, as a comp, or both.

There's also the AAC Blackout and the Smith Vortex if the SF3P and the 249F don't interest you. Otherwise I'd just stay with the A2.
