If you're patient you'll see a decent deal like the one I got or can buy enough parts to build a decent cheap rifle. I just got a Hardened Arms quad-railed upper for $160 (no BCG/CH, but I already got a BCG for $50 on sale)

The only reason I picked up the DPMS was for my Dad, he's just getting into guns and I wanted to get him familiar quickly. Usually you'll want to build your own rifle if you want the cheapest price, the only exceptions will be when companies overproduce and need to clear out inventory quickly.

Dot is good enough, not quite as crisp but not really enough to matter, build quality is fine, I've dropped mine and knocked it around a good amount with no problems. No reason other than gucci to get a PRO over one unless you prefer the 2 MOA dot to 4

Im sure a G would word too. The only one ive got is in the SCAR. Picked up the MBT on a lark on sale awhile back. Got the SLT-1 trigger for the MWS, but it wouldnt fit. So I swapped it out with the mousegun. Its the rear of the cartridge housing, a regular trigger isnt going to have that issue.
