To give OP a serious answer, if the US was able to regain the initiative in the air and the sea, they would rapidly destroy any semblance of a logistical structure or command and control, and then use armor and air to blow the shit out of any enemy troops that didn't surrender when they realized they were in Stalingrad 2.0
