It's not super uncomfy. It's too short for me. I'm 6'2. I have the spacer installed to add 15mm.

I find that the thumbhole isn't at the right angle, so the grip doesn't feel as solid as a normal pistol grip.

Considering my options for an easily suppressed pistol to eventually convert to SBR. It needs to be a caliber I can easily or cheaply reload (no exotic or expensive caliber) and needs to have subsonic options for ammo. Ultimately it also needs to not cost an arm and a leg. Of the options I've researched I've come to decide between 3 guns:

>build a 300BLK AR pistol
And this is why I have come to you /arg/. I am not well versed in AR's and given the absolute fuckton of AR parts on the market right now, I don't know where to start. I would like to get a ballpark price estimate of a decent/midrange AR pistol build in 300 (form 1 and silencer not included), to see if it even competes with the other two options. If you could also recommend parts or brands to use in the build I would be greatful.

Say you have a flat gas block which is covered by your free float hand guard.

Can mount your front buis on the barrel? I mean the part of the barrel that sticks out beyond the rail. It would not connect the gas sustem just clamped to the barrel.

Seems like it would increase sight radius by a small amount but probably not enough to care.

What are the negatives?

It's def feasible. My 10.3 is one of my favorite guns to shoot. Just be cognizant that it's going to be quite a bit louder than 16" guns so choose your MD accordingly. I have a SiCo brake on mine and it literally hurts to shoot without a can.

A little bit of both. The P226 Legion was a nice gun, but it became more of a novelty for me after a while. I really didn't shoot it nearly as much as my Glock 19 or my P2000 and I was never going to carry it.

Plus after getting a P2000, I really started preferring the HK controls over Sig. If I get another DA/SA or DAO/LEM gun it'll be either a HK45ct or a P30.
