Blip was always better than Youtube. It had 720/1080p video uploads back when Youtube was struggling for 360p.

The problem is that people are niggers and run adblock on everything while crying about how adverts ruin videos despite every non-youtube site running those adverts and the start and end of a video.

Youtube has always had shit service. Forever. They've also never turned a profit since they allowed gaming channels to stick their fingers into ad revenue and ruin it for actual content creators that would have normally used Blip and it's competitors if adblock hadn't absolutely killed them.

Adblock is what prevents anyone making a competitor to Youtube. There's literally no reason to risk investment into streaming media while you have a 30% userbase that is essentially 'stealing' resources and preventing you from profiting.

Run adverts at the start of a video and no other time.
Have none obnoxious side bar ads.

In conjunction with a 'pay to display' video producer fee ontop of that for a few bucks and they'd cut their overheads and produce so much revenue it'd be profitable in a year.
