Nerf isn't fun at all though. Literally any other replacement for real guns is better, from paintballs to laser tag. Nerf guns are a children's toy for a reason.

My one issue with nerf is how slow the projectiles fly. I mean, it's fucking foam, I know, but can't something be done so they actually look like they're being shot out instead of flung out the barrel?

Nerf is fucking shit, my man. The darts go too slow to hit anything outside of 10 feet, almost everything is terribly slow to load and shoot, and they're cheap unreliable plastic junk. Whine about the airshit and paintball communities all you want, but that doesn't change Nerf having no community for obvious reasons.

Hey gramps, might want to check the latest nerf offerings.

The rival series is stock 90-100 FPS. It shoots little golf looking foam balls.

Also all the nerf dart guns are made with a better plunger tube system. FPS of 70-80 are stock and the norm, modding the guns will usually give you 120~ depending on what youre doing.

Fly wheels are really fantastic though, the ROF and FPS are varied tho. But always higher than springers.

It's at least got decent range and doesn't jam up like some of 'em.
The best one I've ever used was actually the tiny single-shot pistol- the thing had tons of range, it didn't have an unnecessary barrel, and was pretty simple mechanically.

That thing is tactical as fuck if you take the barrel off but keep the stock. Especially with the longer mags from one of the larger ones. I don't remember what it was called, but I still have it somewhere.
