Alright, so I want to build a Block II clone with the Elcan. Is this diagram accurate and how badly will I be picked on by /ARG/ if I substitute the 4 prong for a 3 prong? What lower is best, any ol' lower like an Aero or is there some kind of special code for the roll mark that makes it more Block II?

I was going to get an Elcan SpecterOS 4x because I'm not paying an extra grand for a 1x setting I will likely never use. Will the FSB show up in my sight picture, if so how badly? Should I just go 14.5" w/ the low pro gas block and rail?

Also, does anyone have any experience with Elcans?

I'm just getting the fixed 4x variant. Like I said, I'm not paying the extra grand for a feature I will likely never use. If fixed 4x is it still worth it or no? My main 3 reasons for the Elcan is because it has better eye relief than an ACOG, it's listed in the SOCOM package (I know it's 1x/4x but still), and ACOGs just don't do anything for me.

The gas block mounts were my major disappointments of the a1, I'm hoping that some industrious little Taiwanese people decide to start selling T91 stuff. How is the actual barrel attached, again mine is at the ups store because I missed it today.
